I know I promised that today would be Moses Day, but I couldn’t wait to share this wonderful photo. We left the boys with Lance and Courtneay (parents of beagle Maggie, not to be confused with Courtney and Mike, parents of Tootsie and Buttercup, little Jacob, and soon-to-be new baby) for the weekend while we went to Connecticut for a Passover family gathering. Lance emailed a bunch of photos to show how well the boys were settling in. I don’t think I’ve ever used the word beatific before, but this seems like a good opportunity to start!

OMG, how sweet! The only thing that would make it more adorable is if his little pink tongue was peeking out.

That is precious! Little Sherman is quite the snuggle bear!

Simply adorable. My first beagle was a 13-inch and he would curl up next to me just like Sherman. Trumbo is very leggy, but he likes to snuggle too.

When I’m on the recliner, Hemi will either plastered himself to my side, or snooze between my legs. You know you’re a dog lover when you’d rather let your leg go to sleep, instead of disturbing the sleeping dog.

    And that picture is “awww-some”

This has got to be the cutest thing I have ever seen…how darling. My Roxy…I love her but she isn’t a cuddler. On the rare day I can occasionally give her a hug but she has to be in the mood. But she is just not a cuddler…sad but true.

One exception is she LOVES my dad and when he is sitting in a recliner or laying on a couch she will jump up and lay with him and sometimes give what we call her famous “beagle hug” which means she will take her head and shove it under his chin or up against his face. It’s usually her way of buttering him up to play fetch with her.

What a sweet picture. Is their anything better than a Beaglehug? I think not…
