Bye bye Oregon

Posted by laurie on September 3, 2010

I’m flying somewhere over the Midwest as I write this. Just a couple of pictures to wrap up my wonderful trip to Oregon and Washington. This is my great-niece Lexi, who is 3-1/2 going on 10. The other day little Dillon took a spill and was screaming, etc. Lexi said to her mom, “Leave him there and let’s go to the park.”

The beagles will return on Monday!

I have been enjoying seeing the pictures from your trip. It will be good to see the beagles again. Wishing you a safe trip back.

Wow, hasn’t Lexi grown! Still a cute munchkin.

    Ditto on what Lynne said!
Wonder what C. Siding, Sherm & Stan have planned for your arrival!

Well, I’ve missed the boys and I’ll be glad to see them again. But Telsha and Elliot are major cool too – just look at them dragging their lips around on their walk!

And what a homecoming it will be! Waggin tails, and white bellies. Nothing better 🙂

Cody and Henry wish Laurie’s entire family (two-legged and four-legged) and all BOTW readers a happy and safe Labor Day weekend!

One more song for the road (thanks again to Ella Fitzgerald):

    MY FUNNY BASSET HOUND

    You’re my funny basset hound,
    Sweet, comic basset hound,
You make me smile with my heart.
    Your looks are laughable, un-photographable,
Yet, you’re my favourite work of art.

Is your figure less than greek?
Is your mouth a little weak?
When you open it to speak, are you smart?

But don’t change a hair for me,
Not if you care for me,
    Stay! little basset hound, stay!
Each day is basset hound day.
