The cavalry has arrived

Posted by laurie on December 23, 2010

These guys didn’t appear to be selling anything, including a ride on their horses. Not quite sure what they were doing aside from enjoying the beach on a Wednesday morning.

We’ll be home on Friday night, weather permitting, and I’ll return on Monday. Have a very Merry Christmas, everyone!

What a cool picture, Laurie! (Well, both of them, but particularly the horse and rider). Now I’m even more jealous — I like horses almost as much as beagles and I ride every Monday night (I take lessons — much easier than owning a horse). Here in Delaware we’re now riding in the indoor arena, all bundled up in winter clothes, and putting the horses to bed at night with three layers of blankets. Ah, to be riding on a beach in Jamaica …. *sigh* :->

    Merry Christmas, everyone!

Laurie, thanks for all the great pictures of your trip… Can’t wait to see you back Monday.

    Merry Christmas all!

Come on Laurie, you know what they were selling!!! You and Phillip just don’t look like potential Ganja customers that’s all.

A friend of mine was in Jamaica a few years back and some guy tried to sell her some funny stuff while she was Snorkeling. Now that’s initiative.

    Ha Ha.

The one time I went to Jamaica with a friend when I was in college, two guys paddled up to us in an inflatable raft while we were swimming and tried to sell us the Ganja. Entrepreneurs abound!

Well, if it was a bald guy, I’d think they were filming an Old Spice commercial.

Are you all ready for the blizzard? We had one two weeks ago, so now it’s your turn. Stay safe and warm!
