Wherein he tries to eat her head

Posted by laurie on March 8, 2011

Don’t they make a cute couple? Even if Stanley is trying to put Maggie’s entire head in his mouth? Makes me want to brush up on my calligraphy and get started on the wedding invitations.

We’re teaching Maggie to keep a polite distance from the dinner table. She’s learning! But poor Stanley just wanders around looking for a place to sit because she’s in his spot. That’s the downside to having a girlfriend, Stan!

Well, now she has at least 1 pierced ear.

We always knew it, but now there’s photographic proof that beagles can unhinge their jaws in order to swallow large objects whole.

Maggie and Stan do make a cute couple!

Laurie, shouldn’t you send out save the date cards first? 🙂

It must be a guy-girl beagle thing. Cooper likes to lick Roxanne, my daughter’s beagle’s ears. But doesn’t try to eat her head.

ohhhhhh a wedding, how wonderful. Wonder what we will wear????
Jodi licks Barneys ears to get him to relocate… She is something else.

that is what Onyx does to Cobalt. She licks his ears first. If he doesn’t respond, she licks his face. The domination progresses from there if he doesn’t move (or play– she also does it when she wants to play).

So how is it you teach and older dog to stay a polite way from the dinner table and not bark the entire time?

Cody will sometimes get one of the cats by the neck and drag them across the floor. Don’t be alarmed — the cats can take care of themselves! They put up with it for a while, then jump up somewhere that Cody can’t and that’s the end of it.

This would make great caption contest pictures! I love the look of patience in Maggie’s face in the first picture and the “and DON’T do it again” look in the second picture!
