The Taj Ma Fence

Posted by laurie on June 30, 2011

Our driveway was pretty embarrassing. Those vines on the fence grew better than the lawn.

After:

Look! How nice is this? The fence looks better than the house!

The view from the Taj Ma Patio is considerably improved.

WOW, it looks great! Great view from the Taj Ma Patio. Bet Sherman and Stanley love it since they can see so much more now. Good luck!

It does look lovely. And now Sherm & Stan can see the UPS people coming more clearly πŸ™‚

Too cool. And, that is the ultimate in “beagle-proof” fencing. No beagle could make a break through that fence. We just have chainlink with lengths of conduit wired to the bottom of it ALL AROUND the yard. That way beagles can’t wiggle under it. Our 1st beagle and our basset were both capable of breaking out of Alcatraz; however, we were able to keep them contained with the beefed up chainlink.

My Blue (bird dog mix) can get the chain link in his teeth and rip it up.

Our beagle rescue group made us beagle-proof our chain-link fence & gates before we could bring Sherry home.

Lois, how did they have you make the chain link fence beagle proof at the bottom so they can’t dig under the fence? I have tried a few different things but it doesn’t look great. Any suggestions would help.

The new fence looks magnificent. Now you need a name for your estate.

I love the fence! Plus, it’s perfect for beagles: they can’t get out, but they can see out and watch the world go by.

What a difference, It looks great.

  8. Very stately, almost dukedom like. The boys can be Dukes Sherman and Stanley of Cambridge, er, New Jersey.

    It looks awesome!

And that bottom picture with that delightful piece of beagle pudginess in thoughtful repose really sets it off nicely. I can’t almost see his little furrowed brown as he contemplates the new addition.

Me, too. It’s wonderful to have a fence looking that good and still keeping the boys safe within the perimeter of your property. Wish we could have something like that for Cody and Henry. Great job!
