Is there a beagle doctor in the house?

Posted by laurie on October 25, 2011

Phillip’s nickname for Stanley is “Stanleykins.” So imagine his surprise when he heard over the hospital loudspeakers, “Paging Dr. Kim, Dr. Stanley Kim.” But it gets better, because the next week it’s “Paging Dr. Sherman. Dr. Sherman!” When did they go to med school??

Oh, the secret lives of beagles! What did they do in their previous lives before being adopted into their forever homes (??). I often wonder what Cody and Henry’s lives were like before I became their beagle mom.

    Henry was a vacuum cleaner.

My Marley was either a goat or a trash compacter.

The real puzzle is why they aren’t practicing in a veterinary hospital.

Kramer was a Hoover and Gandolf was a space cadet. 🙂

And you thought they were going to beagle camp! I wish my doctor was as cute as Sherman and Stanley.

Them beagles is sneaky. Sometimes it’s stealing your shoes and burying them, sometimes it’s graduate-level biochem.

So true. They don’t care about bans on nerve gas.

LOL … you two are funny! :->

Josie is an alien running a canine simulator program, and we think Jordan was a circus clown in a previous life.

Oh my gosh. I’m so glad I didn’t take that sip of hot chocolate just now…or it’d be all over. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, most the beagles I’ve had have been little Einsteins.

Sherry is a princess, so demands that we spoil her. I’m totally convinced that she’s smarter than we are – so maybe she’s a doctor too.

Spencer was a Slinky. (remember them?)

I think our Scooby was a cat in his previous life. Goes insane for milk & canned tuna, loves hunting mice and caught a bird once.

I love the funny story, I can just imagine the look on Phillip’s face when he heard the page!

My friends refer to my dog as “the Dustbuster,” both because of his consumption habits and because he has the look of one – with his back end higher than his front. Aww…

Josie is built that way, too. In the horse world, that’s called, “being built downhill.” It’s very awkward looking conformation, but when you see her briskly trotting the fence line in the back yard with her nose to the ground, it sorta makes sense functionally.

I bet Phillip is thankful he doesn’t work directly with Dr. Stanley Kim. He’d bust a gut trying not to laugh out loud!
