Remains of the week

Posted by laurie on August 3, 2012

Nancy’s tupperware drawer is at the ideal height for little Ari, who, along with the bassets are helping with dinner.

That’s Ari on top of his big sister Mia. And of course you’ve met Elliot and Telsha.

What? Three of them? The middle basset is Chloe, who lives down the street and came over for the afternoon.

It takes a village to change a diaper.

Left to right: Ari, Rachel and Mia, Nancy, Lexi, Seth and Dillon. I fly home today, and the boys return on Monday!

Beautiful pictures, and a beautiful family. Thank you for sharing, and have a safe trip back home.

Fabulous pictures! You have a wonderful family. I love especially that top pic of Ari. And in pic 3, Telsha looks like she’s wearing an elaborate crown.

Karen, that “crown” is my peacock fireplace screen, a great find from Craigslist. At least I think so–my husband doesn’t! I do share your feeling that Laurie has a wonderful family 🙂 We’re gonna miss her!!! She’s off on her flight right now 😦

Josie wants a giant peacock tiara like that!

      Great pictures, Laurie!

I have to say yet again, what a beautiful family you have, Laurie!
Looks like it takes a village and a Basset to change a diaper 🙂
I can’t show a Shotzy or Quincy the picture of Telsha in her “crown” because they would want one too.
I’m laid up in the guest room with Shotzy sleeping peacefully next to me. I had the ACL on my left knee replaced yesterday, so i’m on strict bed rest for the next two weeks…. UG I’m bored already! I was worried about Shotzy jumping all over me, but she’s been surprisingly gentle… All 4 dogs seem to want to e around me and protect…… That’s a good thing!
Safe journey home, Laurie … I’m looking forward to seeing your pizza parties with Phillip and the boys next week!
