iCough

Posted by laurie on September 12, 2012

Phillip has not one but two iPads. One he bought, and the other is on full-time loan from the Township for Township business only. Last night at about 6:45 as I was driving home from my third coughing appointment he called to tell me he brought the wrong iPad to the Council meeting and could I please bring the other one. Of course; who am I to impede politics? I made it a mini road trip for the boys. Stanley found a cough drop (wrapper and all) and proceeded to chew it and immediately spit it out. Add cough drops to lettuce as things Stanley won’t eat. I left them in the car and as I walked into the Municipal Building I could hear Stan howling out the window. Too cute. My cough is definitely improved and I’m on a second course of antibiotics so hopefully it will be completely over soon.

Glad you’re feeling better, Laurie. I don’t use cough drops any more, but when I did, the dogs would chew them and leave them on the carpet. It made a sticky mess!

Keep up the improvrment, Laurie – the boys need you to serenade them!
Dylan stole my pack of extra strong mints (do you have those in the US?), which nearly blow your head off. He did his very best to eat them but had to admit defeat, he was horrified to find there was something he couldn’t eat!!

When I go to Sonic, they give you mints. I just leave them in the car and forget about them. Barney always finds them. He can eat the mint and spit out the wrapper, amazing talent that boy 🙂

Yes Linda, we have those mints here. hmmmmm maybe I should experiment. LOL

Glad to hear you’re continuing to improve, Laurie! Jordan used to howl if he were left behind, but Josie just goes to sleep. I still really don’t like to leave her in the car if I can avoid it.

This is what a lot of people just don’t understand. Beagles have vastly different definitions of “food” and “edible” and “delicious!” than pretty much anything but a billy goat. Can’t leave chapstick on the coffee table, that’s for sure.

  6. I found this on MSN this afternoon. Check out the raccoon giving the beagle a dental check up! I just had to share this….BTW, glad to hear you are feeling better Laurie.

Glad you’re feeling better Laurie… Although it looks as if Stanley is either checking out WebMD.com for you or more likely PetSmart!

Glad you are feeling better, those coughs seem to take forever to leave. Stan wanted to voice his opinion to the council members. lol
