No wonder

It’s nice to know that everyone was comfortable while I was hanging on for dear life. Apparently Stanley was on the other side of the bed. The others seemed to leave him little choice.

  1. I had a similar version of that last night with the two boys under the covers pressed against me and stretched out. And yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Neither would I – but I can understand Laurie saying she was “hanging on for dear life.” I’ve done that myself a few times. Once it felt like the entire bed was collapsing to the floor. Turned out the mattress had gradually slid so far to the left that the entire thing slid to the floor – me, the beagles, and one cat!

Ditto! Although for me, it’s Bartles the Basset curled up at my knees… I’m not able to stretch out-and with two bad knees, I wake up achy. But like Rebecca, I wouldn’t have it any other way 🙂

Sometimes I have to move Henry so I can stretch MY legs out. He likes to sleep near the end of the bed, and usually sleeps crosswise of the mattress. I have to move him so he’s stretched out the OTHER way so I have some leg room!

I Love it. I miss Kramer snuggling with me like that. 🙂 I would wake up achy too sometimes. What a sweet picture.

Isn’t their ability to push you out of bed amazing? You can be in a king sized bed with only one beagle and end up teetering on the edge, trying to hang onto about two inches of mattress!! But they’re wonderful to snuggle up to on a cold winter night, like a beagly hot water bottle!!

I love this picture. I love to watch Cobalt & Onyx sleep, especially when they are all curled up, their faces are so sweet.

Jodi goes to bed before I do and it’s difficult to get into bed most nights. LOL

This is what I look like too. Waaaay over on the side, with three beagles snuggled up just as close as they can get. On the plus side, we save on heating bills!

Looks like our house 🙂 4 Beagles in bed in various states of hibernation. Pete and Penny get under all the covers as close to me as they can get, Roscoe curls into a tight little ball after pushing the bedspread around to make a nest at hubby’s feet, and Brooklyn stretches out full length on hubby’s pillow and/or stretches out along side him, We wouldn’t trade it either 🙂

Love this photo but there is room for Stanley between your legs and arms! lol

So if Stanley was on the other side of the bed… That would leave room for Phillip… how???
