I found a CD with photos from the computer I retired in 2005. That’s the year I got my first Mac.

I had been using a Mac at work. Biologists tend towards Macs, not PCs. I am happy to follow them.

Stan is a little better in that I didn’t hear him yelp at all yesterday. While he goes up and downstairs without complaint, he can’t get on the couch by himself and is afraid of stepping from the bench in front of the bed to the bed.

Yes, I also wonder how Stan is?

adorable, whatever the method. Yes how are Stan & Holly?

Silly little creatures! The poses they sleep in sometimes don’t look at all comfortable.

  5. Holly is better- but just a bit better. She no longer yelps when we touch her leg, but refuses to get up and walk around or play. She stays in bed all day and we have to carry her outside to go potty. The vet gave her an injection of Carprofen $38 and sent her home with 10 carprofed pills 75 mg $10 to be taken once a day with the evening meal. Office visit $54 – and bio waste dispsal fee $4.70 total bill $108
Hope the carprofed does the trick. Has any one heard of it before or has used it ? Vet said it was like pet Mortrin – and said never to give dogs – people Motrin or Asprin as it will upset their stomach and have other bad effects.

OMG, that poor little girl!! I hope this fixes it, or the vet figures something else out. That is not how that little whirlwind should be feeling. Here’s sending good vibes for a speedy recovery (and hope Stan is better as well).

At least we have some slightly better news to report for Josie … her eye does seem to be improving, I’d say it’s about 80% better since Sunday morning. She stopped pawing at her face as she seems more comfortable (I do think the drops help), so she did not have to wear the e-Collar at all yesterday. She did start fussing at 3:30 am, so I had to put her back in it, but she was better when I was heading to work this morning (Again thankful that Rob works from home and can supervise/give her eye drops). I swear, when I put the e-Collar on yesterday, she acted Iike I’d strapped a ball and chain around her neck … and when I made her wear it to walk up the street at 5:30am, she refused to leave our driveway (“I will NOT be seen in public this way!!!”). Those Comfy Cones may not be fashionable, but they’re sure better than the traditional ones (I thought she was kind of stylin’ myself when I rolled it back like a turtle neck. ;->).

I guess the only side-effect of carprofen is poverty! Wishing her a speedy recovery.

I wonder what Spenser, Clayton and Scooter are thinking in those pictures?

Glad Stan, Josie and Holly are improving 🙂
