Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I spent part of the day at the funeral of Aunt Nancy’s father. Never did get the massage but had a nice dinner out followed by some decadent Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. On both Friday and Saturday we hung pictures on the wall. That set of three are my photos. That guy’s my husband.

I’m going to take a DD vacation this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I have to make four pies and pumpkin bread.

We’re having Thanksgiving at our niece’s house in Connecticut. Nineteen adults, 5 kids under 2-years old plus a whole bunch of dogs. I’d better remember to take my camera.

Have a safe trip and enjoy your family. Happy Holidays to all the DD family.
Give the boys hugs from us.

Is that guy – excuse me, your husband – quibbling about “eye level” as part of the picture hanging process? Or is that a Groucho Marx move?

I’m thinking with 5 (FIVE???) kids under 2 and a bunch of dogs, we’re going to be well entertained with DD pix next week!

Oh I missed your Bday! Happy Late Birthday. I’m glad to see you switched to 54 mins of running rather than 5400yds swimming, yikes!

    Happy Thanksgiving and Hanukkah too!

Please convey my condolences to Aunt Nancy on the passing of her father. I know you and many of us know how tough it is to lose your dad.

I love the photo of Phillip doing the Grouch walk. My dad, Mel, shared his love of the Marx Brother’s movies with my late brother, also Mel, and me. It is one of my fondest recollections of both Mels.

I am looking forward to the photos from “Thanksgivukkah” at your niece’s home and also to the DD calendar for 2014. I am wondering if you have ever thought about selling copies of any of your other photographs via the DD or a separate site? Perhaps some of your vacation photos? Just a thought.

Libby and I wish ALL of the DD family a happy Thanksgiving/Thanksgivukkah. I hope everyone’s travels are safe. If you are driving, please drive defensively. ❤
