Let the dieting begin

Posted by laurie on January 2, 2014

As always, we spend Christmas with Cathy and Judy and their friend Celia. That’s five people and there were six dogs. Keesha and Tallie are the two Keeshonds, Mojo is the Schipperke and Frisky (not pictured) is the small furry white dog. Tallie and Stanley had a great deal to discuss and sometimes it was difficult for the humans to hear each other above their voices.

Please meet Harper’s new German shepherd, Wookey Girl Lash!

Thanks so much for posting the Wookey!

Glad I’m not the only one who over ate over the holidays! Yesterday was my last food hurrah… Now back to my healthy diet!

One test of being a true dog lover is when you can still love (and tolerate!) them under the noisiest of conditions. Laurie and Philip and their friends obviously pass this test!

    Wookey Girl is a darling!

Happy New Year, everyone! Wookey is totally cute, congratulations Harper! Oh my, 6 dogs and 5 people is quite the gathering! We had friends over for Christmas, and I thought it was hilarious that they thought Josie and Lady were well behaved at dinner — they circled like sharks, occasionally gave snout bumps on hands and legs, and Lady made pathetic whining noises indicating we never feed her. But apparently, their Yorkie claws at your leg and one of their cats launches himself into the middle of the table, so relatively speaking, our two aren’t so bad!

    Love the Wookey!

Happy New Year. My diet started 12/29, tried to beat the rush. LOL

We went to our friends house. They had two cats and a dog. All are at the bridge now. Just didn’t seem right not to have a four legged baby underfoot and begging.
      I missed our misbehaved crew.

We had eight people and four dogs for Christmas dinner and it was pretty interesting. Our friend Cesar brought Sammie, his adorable and very well-behaved Maltese terrier and Lily and the boys were good hosts, with no doggie weirdness. There WAS a lot of begging though!

Happy New Year to all beagley friends! Wookey is adorable – our two (and us) ate far too much over Christmas so it’s back to boot camp for all of us from today!!!!

  8. Love the Wookey. What a beautiful black face. Mrs. Santa doesn’t look too thrilled. Was this a pet friendly photo shoot, or did you bully your way past the little kids and their moms! ha!

Thanks for all the compliments on the Wookey… Her face is already lightening up in the typical GS markings… Slow going so she looks like a brindle right now 🙂 I love how it’s a surprise as to what they will look like as an adult… Shotzy’s colors still amaze me…
This was actually a fund raiser for our local SPCA… The Santa couple are actually so sweet… We took Bartles the Basset for pictures with them two years ago… They own Basset Hounds 🙂
I’ll admit I spent too much on stuff but it’s all for a good cause! And I signed up to volunteer in the future…
