This is Ferris on the left, Jack on the right. They are holding fast attention to the hot dog my husband is holding just out of the picture. We adopted Ferris almost 4 years ago along with Maxine(1995-09/17/2011) Jack rescued us June 14, 2012. All are Seattle Beagle Rescue Alumni.

Olive (on the right in the first picture) is a 3 year old SOS Beagle alum, while 5 year old Millie came from a rescue group called Cattitudes. They’re tiny beagle girls, tipping the scales at 12 and 15 lbs. respectively. Olive is a bit of a tomboy while Millie is more of a regal beagle. In the first picture they’re posing for a Christmas portrait (with the help of some off-camera treats) and in the second they’re curling up for a nap together.

    Wow! What pretty beagles!!!
Love the intent looks on Ferris and Jack’s faces! Olive and Millie have that same look in the cute Christmas picture!
But the last one of Olive and Millie snuggled together is priceless!
Thanks for sharing your sweet pups Kim and Lauren!!!

Look at the smile on Jack’s face! Does he always smile? Bode only looks like he’s smiling when he’s panting. All four pictures are great, and strengthens my belief that beagles are really meant to be pairs (if not a pack)!

So cute! I could never get my Baxter to sit still for a treat, he would always be jumping for it… love how these guys are so intent but so disciplined!

I just love the pictures of your babies. I agree, they should come in pairs-if not packs.

    Thanks for the smiles.

All the beagles are adorable – but I have to say Olive’s little face is extra precious. I want to smooch them all!

Well as usual with pictures of beagles all I can say is How CUTE! I just love that cuddled up brace of beagle girls, and those Ferris and Jack faces are too much.

Such great poses! so cute. I have not watched the puppy bowl yet but there was another show early Sunday called “too cute” on Animal Planet that had beagle puppies from 3 weeks until 10 weeks when they get adopted out. cute overload! you might be able to find the episode online.

    • I’ve seen “Too Cute” in passing. My husband puts it on if the morning local news isn’t on (read sports instead). It is Too Cute. I’ll have to remind myself to watch it more.

Harper, the weird looking basset hound in Puppy Bowl was Van Helsing. I only saw him in passing as I did not watch the whole thing. I thought the announcer made a mistake, but now I remember someone earlier talking that there were different kinds of bassets. Still, he was “Too Cute”.

Such sweetie pies, love the picture of the girls curried up together! They are so tiny – my two weigh around 19 kilos each!!! Neither of them is fat, they both walk a lot and their weight is due to muscle.

Speaking of Puppy Bowl and cute beagles on TV, we saw a rerun of “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” yesterday. It featured the Parkette Drive-In in Lexington, KY, with a cameo appearance by a beagle, which is VERY funny. Go to the Youtube link below, and zoom ahead to 2:40 on the segment, and watch the guy in the red pickup truck. Coming from the back seat is first the paw, then the snoot!

We’ve stopped at Sonic Drive-Ins when traveling with our hounds, and they’re not quite that bad!

  13. The pictures this morning are amazing. I can’t image a beagle only 12 pounds, but then again, Julie, 19 kilos is 42 pounds!! We had a beagle named Wiley in the neighborhood that was close to 50 pounds. I called him Wombat Wiley.

Wombat Wiley, that’s hilarious! My sister has a fawn colored American Cocker Spaniel named Darby that is very tall and very obese, although a very sweet dog. My husband calls him, “The Manatee” (I guess they don’t have them in England … they’re big marine mammals that hang in the Florida waterways in the US, they’re similar to the dugongs of the Indo-Pacific).

Love all the pix of your adorabeagles!

Olive and Millie are such petite little girls. Picking them up and carrying them around would be much easier than picking up Cody (and Henry too, for that matter!)

    They are both so precious!
