We have been having such horrible weather here in Wisconsin. Either it’s bitter cold, or we’re having snow (and sometimes ice!) Today is very windy and cloudy, and the temp is about 12 degrees F. The boys have been outside twice this morning, and both times they came back in about two minutes later. Right now Cody (bottom) is cuddled on the living room sofa, head on the pillow. Henry usually prefers sleeping on one of the two doggie beds they got for Christmas. They can both hardly wait for spring, when we can start going to the doggie park again on weekends!

Dogs are good at hibernating! These guys look so relaxed.

cold and snowy here in NJ too…waiting on a new storm to arrive mid week…
I don’t know who is more tired of it, me or the pack..

I too live in Wisconsin. The beagles and I can’t wait for spring. We all have cabin fever. We have been playing what I call the cup game. I put treats under plastic solo cups all over the first floor and let them find them. It is hysterical. My older girl pushes the cup until it tips over. The younger one picks them up. Its much quicker that way.

I’m going to try that game with my pack. What fun.
Henry looks like he is having sweet dreams with that smile. Cody is all cuddly on the sofa.
Want to rub their ears πŸ™‚ Thanks for the pictures!

Oh Luana, I hear you. πŸ™‚ It’s been SO bitter here. Such cabin fever and I don’t dare keep Gandolf out very long. Hopefully spring will come soon to all of us, and doggie parks, and laying in the sunshine is in our very near futures. Very sweet pix by the way.

So sweet… They always look so innocent until they wake up and are ready to rampage!

  8. Cody and Henry look so sweet. Would love to cuddle with them. I was born in Wisconsin and lived there for 28 years- and am so sick of the snow, ice and cold. I thought that New Jersey would be better – but not this winter. Enough already !

Nice to see what Cody and Henry look like!
    Cody’s face is just precious!
And I love Henry’s sprawl…. Reminds me of my Bartles including the body (ahem) type πŸ˜‰

Thank you all for your nice comments about my precious boys.

The crappy winter weather is starting to get to them now, I think, especially to Cody. They each have a Kong Wobbler toy that I put treats in so they can knock it around and make the treats come out. Cody is the food-driven one, more so than Henry, so when he finishes his Wobbler he goes after Henry’s. The other day I heard snarling and barking from the kitchen, and they were actually FIGHTING over the Wobbler! No injuries ensued, and I broke things up quickly, but it just shows how much they need the warm spring weather to come.

I hope everyone has a good week!
