I’m not allowed to call Phillip’s helicopters “toys”. They are “models”. He recently bought not one but three mini-copters and he has another on loan from a guy at work. They’re all charging on my kitchen counters; it’s quite a mess.

I don’t complain. Why? Because I am a saint.

If only you’d had one when Spencer was running away on you. It would have come in handy in the search.

Did you have nice Passover? Where did you go?

Yes Laurie, you are a saint….as is my wife and probably most of your readers. You all put up with our whims….that can change with the tide..and as we age..they get weirder, and weirder (to you)

I actually gave one of the mini ones to my husband for Christmas a few years back…. No idea where it is now 🙂

I want one of those er, models. It looks like fun, although I’m sure it would scare the dogs.

My Barney is in the hospital this AM. Please say a prayer for him (and me). I am pretty sure he had a seizure of some sort last night. Then he shook and shook and panted and panted.. He has a 103.9 degree temp this AM. 😦

You are a saint, Laurie, although it could be worse than remote control helicopters. My husband sent me an email yesterday with a link to some Honda concept motorcycle he wants to get. I am not a saint, and told him, “Hell, no!”

    That is not a helicopter–it’s a drone…Duck!

I believe model train enthusiasts are the same. Our neighbor insists too that they are “models” and not “toys.”

My husband is steam train enthusiast and the ones he buys are ‘model trains’ not ‘toy trains’, as I once referred to them as, much to his horror!!!!

That’s still the biggest Cocker Spaniel I’ve ever seen. Is it the East Coast weather?

BTW, we have a large collection of water toys that haven’t seen the water. What! Water Models? I don’t think so.

Cody and Henry would love the “models” if the models dropped goodies down on them, like care packages!

You are a saint with all those wires. I can barely stand one on a kitchen counter. But maybe you can cut Phillip some slack for NOT being mentioned in the New Yorker’s recent Chris Christie article!
