There were torrential rains while we were gone and the river and canal both flooded. Part of the road, too but that was cleared up by the time we got home.

The boys’ Saturday morning walk was muddy and a hose awaited them at home. Spring is here!

yep, you missed a deluge..don’t recall ever seeing rain that heavy lasting so long..

We walked our boys in the canal bed once. And only once. It was a mud pit complete with shells, and all sorts of delicious smells. I swear getting the muck off was like cleaning cement shoes! The boys had fun, but what a cleanup job!

    Love the paws in mud!
Cute to look at but I’m sure a bit difficult to clean!

Spring has arrived, Eddy had his first emergency bath of the season. He found something deliciously smelly and squishy to roll in yesterday.

The beags and I took a walk down Los Gatos Creek the other day but found no mud. We did find plenty of interesting plant and wildlife. And poop. We always find plenty of poop!

Story about Sunday baths. Charlie gave the kids baths outside ….. cold water… was almost 90 here. Now Huggy has Limber Tail 😦 YIKES. I asked the Vet for an assigned parking space.

Cassie gets limber (or cold) tail occasionally. It lasts about 24 hours and she has trouble sitting and laying down for a few hours. Not to worry about it, it does get better on its own. Interestingly JB has never had it at all.

  9. Spring has sprung ! Just received a call from a neighbor. Buddy has dug himself out of our back yard for the first time this year. Of course I am stuck at work and can’t go to pick him up until late tonight 😦

  10. The looks on the faces of the boys is so cute! My guy would run off into the woods. Can’t believe beagles stay on the mud trail.
