Full house

Posted by laurie on June 3, 2014

Beagle camp is full. Vous is here for two weeks while Sara goes to Europe.

Roscoe and Bear from next door spent part of the weekend with us while their moms were away. In fact they attended the beaglefest. Most of the time they could be found underneath someone’s chair. The boys are very sweet. Roscoe jumps up on me to cuddle when I read on the couch. But he runs from me when I try to give him his supper bowl! Very hard to wrap your head around it! Roscoe the anti-beagle.

Love the pictures. Maybe Roscoe could use some lessons about food from a beagle. Very cute.

  3. It was nice meeting Roscoe and Bear. I thought that they were here because they heard a party next door and decided to crash it. They both seemed to stay on the patio and mostly huddled under the patrio chair. I think they were trying to figure out where all of the Beagles came from. I did get to cuddle with Roscoe a bit. He is a sweetheart. Bear seems a bit overwhelmed. Glad they could join in the fun. Vous looks so stately in her pictures. What a beauty.

A dog that runs away from the dinner bowl? Really?!!! If our two are even a bit slow eating it’s usually a sign something’s wrong and it’s time to visit the vet!

I agree. If my Marley didn’t immediately gobble up his food as soon as it hit the bowl, I’d start digging a hole!

When I scrolled down, I wondered how a picture of my canine nephew, Patterson, was on the Daily Digital. Bear’s face is just like Patterson’s… and actually, Patterson sometimes won’t eat for a day, and then chows down. It’s so unbeagle like the first time he did it when I was babysitting, I was looking for the vet’s number because he wasn’t eating!
