We have pretty much abandoned our back woods in favor of the path along the canal for walks. It’s called the tow path because mules used to tow barges from New York to Philadelphia. (More info here.) I used to think it was the toe path because of, well, toes.
Anyway, there is a lot less hosing off of muddy beagles.

When I think of Clayton, I usually think of him as being 16. But look how young he was here. He almost looks like an athlete!

This is from the same “roll” as Tuesday’s photos. Look at that young man I married!

When we first got Clayton I didn’t want him to sleep on the bed. Then, well, I didn’t want him to touch the sheets. Make that no going under the covers. I was hopeless, but fortunately learned quickly.

Such beautiful boys.
And have you ever seen a dog bed this pristine outside of a store?

This was a caption contest photo. Susan in DE, do you remember what the winner was?
The bounty of Phillip’s garden. Unfortunately I do not like either tomatoes or yellow squash.

Oops, I forgot to upload photos from my computer so we’ll have to make do with the slim pickings from my work computer. This is from 2008.

Spenser was better with puppies, although here he does look a bit put upon.
