Neighbors

Our mower has been in the shop twice in the last three weeks. It won’t start. Fortunately we have wonderful neighbors: Bear and Roscoe’s mom mowed our lawn twice without us asking!

  1. It looks like your hhead mechanic is telling Phillip that there is no hope for the mower and that you should let the grass grow tall – that way- more bunnies will come and play in the yard.

Also, with tall grass the doggies can hide more of their landmines

  3. You do have nice neighbors! Mine just come by to tell me everything I am doing wrong in the front of my house :). I don’t blame them but I don’t have a green thumb and everything I try to plant dies within a week! I jokingly tell them they are welcome to fix my mistakes to do it the way they see fit. So far none have taken me up on it.

That’s not very nice! I think you should tell them everything they are doing wrong, etiquette-wise. My view is as long as you don’t have a car up on blocks in your yard, you are doing ok…

Hay wait a minute… What’s wrong with a car up on blocks in the yard? It gives all the hounds sleeping under it some shade!
        LOL!!!!

Hmmm, reminds me of my neighbor. She loves to mow lawn and has plenty of time to do it. When she thinks my lawn is too long, she mows the part closest to her side. She also trimmed around the trees last week. I figure if she doesn’t like my lawn, she has 3 choices: 1. Don’t look at it, 2. Put up a fence, 3. Do it herself. Apparently, she has done #3 to a degree.

You forgot to mention that we refer to her sometimes as the Lawn Nazi . . .
