Brotherly love

Here’s a cute story for you. I leave for work before Phillip and part of his and the boys’ routine is that they stay upstairs while he gets dressed. Usually Sherman goes into the crate for a nap. Then, when Phillip is dressed he nudges Sherm and they all head downstairs for a goodbye treat. Stanley leads the parade. Well, the other day no beagles came downstairs. Phillip called them, to no avail. So he went upstairs and found Stanley sitting right next to the crate, waiting for his brother. Awwww!

That is very cute! And in the picture they’re playing Leap Beagle?

I think they’re playing something else, Karen. ;->
Cute picture, cute story!

I’d say that photo is just a tad scandelous! The story is adorable though. 🙂

Me too. Stanley is so sweet. Pretty soon we’ll see him snuggled with Uncle Bob.

I’m thinking Stanley is just scratching that hard to reach spot on Sherman’s back. That way Sherman doesn’t have to find a smelly spot in the yard to roll around in.

Stan is like a brother to Sherm, always waiting up for him. He’s such a dear.

I wondered if they were doing the Hokey=Pokey — but Leap Beagle is better.

That is so cute and so typical of beagles. Am catching up on DD again. We are halfway through a remodel that has lasted for over a month!! I read the DD when I want to relax.
While we were in Maine, Brady stayed with a friend of ours who has another dog and he had a great time – however he returned with laryngitis. His beagle bray sounds like a goose! Otherwise he appears fine but he is still going to the vet on Wednesday. (He needs shots anyway. Shhhh…..)

That’s so funny! Rowdy used to get laryngitis from arooing too much.

Yes, Dylan always returns with that too, when he has to go to the kennels! But now we’ve found a lovely dog carer with a huge garden plus 2 other dogs & loads of walkies. Beagle paradise – it’s holiday for him too now 🙂

Brady was staying with a friend of ours whose house sits on a canal. I have a feeling he was aroooing at the canal ducks!
He went to the vet yesterday and has a sore throat. The vet put him on an antibiotic and decongestant. He’ll take that – it postponed his yearly shots!

Get well soon, Brady! But the shots will still be looming… Dylan doesn’t mind those but HATES the Kennel Cough one as it’s drops up the nose.
